Texas has a way of doing everything differently, and surrogacy is no exception. While the state permits gestational surrogacy, it only does so if certain requirements are met.

For example, Texas requires the intended parents in a surrogacy arrangement to be married. There’s a lot more to surrogacy law in Texas, of course, and it’s going to take a lot of research to reach the point that you can actually help a family become complete.
